Fence Keepers- a Microfiction Challenge

“Keep the fence. Don’t cross it,” the dying fence keeper said. “Two worlds at once is too dangerous.”

I was foolish.

As I was straddling the fence, I saw both the mythical Red and the mythical Green.

Terror ripped my soul.

Now I am the fence keeper.

The world stays safe in black and white.
